The 'Scientific Fisheries Systems (SFS)' is a data entry system used for the collection of scientific fisheries data both offshore and onshore.

That includes the submission of Catch length and biological data collected on a given Trip / Survey.

Once input data is marked as Complete and then Checked, it is forwarded on to the 'Scientific Fisheries Systems (SFS) - Refinery & Warehouse'. The Refinery & Warehouse are used for data analysis and are also where scientific outputs such as RDBES and DATRAS are produced.
